Cor mdx
the voice of the heart
For wearable medical devices to truly serve patients, they must do more than collect data—they must ease anxiety, reduce stigma, and fit comfortably into daily routines. Peerbridge Cor MDx was designed with this empathy in mind, pairing a discreet, user-friendly form with clinical-grade fidelity to capture over 30 cardiac conditions. The result is a device that listens to users and their hearts.

Does it look the same? Good! When tasked with redesigning a wearable heart monitor, their was a strong commitment to maintain the original design of their flagship product. The updated design had to fit the enhanced, next-generation heart monitor components into a sleek, compact package while also solving usability and manufacturing issues of the original design.

The result
-
Updated material and durometer to accommodate the diverse landscape of users comfortably
-
A recessed button with haptic feedback made activating the device possible without looking, resulting less frustration and superior clinical accuracy.
-
While purposely subtle the updated design allowed for crucial increases in space needed to fit the updated internal components.
-
To accommodate the long wear periods fresh adhesive pads can be swapped onto the device as needed.
